How quickly time flies - Less then 2 weeks to go until our first guest arrives for his holiday in La Picholine. Fingers crossed it will be ready in time. This morning Bryan finished the plumbing then we had to break off for a photoshoot.  There are a few jobs left to do in the bathroom and the kitchen is awaiting the cupboard doors and shelves. The list of things to do grows longer every day and panic is beginning to set in.  At the moment we are waiting for the certificate from the consuel - we need this to pass on to EDF (the electric company) who will then (hopefully) before the 25th come and switch on our electrics at the main box - otherwise it will be candles and a BBQ.

We never know what to do next. It changes from working on the villa, working in the garden or photoshoots. Never a dull day here......

May is the busiest time for photoshoots and we have had a bit of a problem fitting them all in, and with the weather being changeable they seem to be all stacking up for the end of the month. Today was not a problem with beautiful blue skies and lots of warm sunshine.

We spent Sunday afternoon planting the tomatoes out in our little kitchen garden along with peppers and cucumbers. We also picked some of our new potatoes for our evening meal and the first of the strawberries for our dessert. Mmmmmmm.
